  We use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with our website/app. These tools help us improve performance, optimize user experience, and enhance functionality.

  We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services.      • User Authentication: Our app uses Authentication (Google, Apple, or Firebase) may collect your email, phone number, and other identifiers.
     • User Identifiers: Firebase may generate unique user identifiers for analytics and crash reporting.

     • Crash Data: Firebase Crashlytics collects crash logs, device information, and app status to help us debug and improve stability.
     • Analytics Data: Services like Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics collect anonymized usage patterns, app interactions, and engagement metrics.
     • Device Information: These services may collect IP addresses, device type, operating system, and browser type.

  3. Demographic Data

     Age and Gender

     • Analytics: Derives demographic data from users' interactions and device information.
     • Google Analytics: Collects demographic data from users who are logged into a Google account, as well as from third-party cookies or smartphone ad tracking. This data includes age, gender, and interests.
     • Microsoft Clarity: Does not collect demographic information such as age or gender. It focuses on user behavior analytics, capturing interactions like clicks, scrolls, and mouse movements.
     • Note: Demographic data is aggregated and anonymized; it is available only when a sufficient number of users meet the criteria to ensure privacy. Users can opt out of interest-based advertising through their device settings, which will prevent the collection of demographic data.

  4. Location Data

     Approximate Geolocation:

     • Collection Method: Services like Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics determine users' approximate geographic location based on their IP addresses. This typically includes country, region, and city-level data.
     • Purpose: Understanding the geographical distribution of our users helps us tailor content and services to different regions and improve overall user experience.
     • Accuracy: While country-level data is generally accurate, city or region-level data may be less precise due to factors like VPN usage, mobile networks, or ISP routing.

     • User Control: Users can influence location data collection by:

       • Adjusting device settings to limit location sharing.
       • Using VPNs or proxies, which may affect the accuracy of location data.

Upturn does not endorse any such financial products or other products promoted by advertisers and generally does not expect to know which companies will be advertising on its website or app.

If you wish to delete or deactivate your account, you can delete the app, or please email us at info@upturn.io, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a certain period of time
